That could make it difficult for the party to deliver a coherent message on early voting. In an advertisement that aired during the first Republican presidential debate in August, RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said into the camera: "When Republicans vote early, we win." With Trump railing against the practice, Democrats have increased their edge in early voting. In 2022, that gap widened, with Democrats accounting for 42.5% of early ballots and Republicans 33.8%. But Youngkin advisers said their data showed the early vote campaign had brought in ballots from low-propensity voters as well.

CNN —US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told CNN that the US is attempting to strengthen “lines of communication” with China to avoid conflict between the two superpowers. “We are working to put some stability into the relationship, to put a floor under the relationship, to make sure that the competition that we’re in doesn’t veer into conflict,” Blinken told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria in an interview that aired Sunday. His visit was followed by similar trips by other high-level Biden administration officials, including Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and US climate envoy John Kerry. “I was very clear with my Chinese counterparts,” Blinken told Zakaria, referring to his trip last month. CNN previously reported that one of the key issues that did not get resolved during Blinken’s trip was the restoration of military-to-military communications between US and China.

For about a year, a box office battle has been brewing between "Barbie" and Oppenheimer" — the two much-anticipated films from Oscar-nominated directors that are set to be released on exactly the same day. That's before the release of more blockbusters, including "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One" and, of course, "Barbie" and "Oppenheimer."

Elon Musk says only verified subscribers will be recommended in Twitter's timeline. Voting in polls will also be exclusive to users verified under Twitter Blue. Musk rolled out his new verification system, including Twitter Blue, shortly after acquiring the platform for $44 billion in late October. Since then, Twitter has been introducing features to try and encourage more Twitter Blue sign-ups, including a way to edit tweets and a longer character limit for subscribers. Musk has publically voiced his disdain for Twitter's old verification system on several occasions, once calling it "deeply corrupted."
Wharton professor Jeremy Siegel said bitcoin's recent boost will fade out once people start trusting banks again. He said cryptocurrencies push a narrative that the conventional financial system is terrible, helping drive bitcoin gains amid a banking crisis. The world's largest cryptocurrency is trading around the $28,000 mark – it's highest level in nine months. "Bitcoin was launched with a mantra that the banking system was terrible, and the economy needed an alternative. So, the narrative is helping drive money into bitcoin with a 30% gain in the last week," Siegel said.

CNN Reliable Sources has independently obtained the same messages that McLaughlin sent to Meadows. Through a spokesperson, McLaughlin declined to comment. The messages underscore the intimate relationship that Hannity, his team, and the right-wing media writ large shared with the Trump White House. “Jim Jordon [sic] will gladly coordinate with the House team,” Meadows texted McLaughlin. And it’s no secret Hannity himself worked as a top informal adviser to Trump.
